On October 31, 2021, it was reported Ecto Cooler was being used at a Sony-Pictures/Firefly promotional event for Ghostbusters: Afterlife in New York and Los Angeles. The four stages of me watching Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Remember the Ghostbusters-themed Hi-C drink flavor, Ecto Cooler? Well if you do, and you were a fan of it, we have good news and bad news. While last year’s release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife brought several tasty-themed tie-ins to grocery store shelves, including Stay Puft branded marshmallows and Ghostbusters cereal, one notable omission was the severe lack of Hi-C Ecto Cooler. A lit pipe where you want to smoke some ecto cooler while smoking out of a box of ecto cooler, while drinking ecto cooler.
